    Providing walk-in, convenient, compassionate, and quality veterinary care for urgent medical conditions at the only dedicated urgent care facility in New Hampshire. We offer services during afternoon, evening and weekend hours.

    We're excited to announce that we are moving to 1985 St. Johnsbury Road in Littleton on Wednesday, August 5th! We will be closed and moving on Wednesday and reopening at the new location on Thursday August 6th.

Our Urgent Care Hospital

Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care puts your family first by offering high quality, compassionate and convenient medicine from skilled doctors and technicians at the first dedicated urgent care facility in New Hampshire. The LAVUC team is here for your pets to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency medicine by providing quality care to treat urgent conditions with shorter wait times than the ER. With convenient hours spanning afternoons, late evenings, and weekends, LAVUC can support your family and pets in their time of need.

Pets will be triaged, and critical patients seen first. Noncritical patients will be seen in the order they arrive.

What is urgent care? Urgent care bridges the gap between general practice and emergency medicine by treating a variety of illnesses and wounds with shorter wait times than an ER. Littleton Area Veterinary Urgent Care offers advanced diagnostic work ups, outpatient treatment for illness, sedated procedures, and stabilization of critical patients. Assistance arranging for transfer to a 24hr emergency hospital will be provided if overnight care is needed.

Monday to Friday 2pm - 10pm
Saturday and Sunday and select holidays 10am - 10pm
Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

Parking

As we strive to provide the best care for your beloved pets, we kindly ask for your cooperation regarding parking. Our facility has limited parking availability, and we discourage roadside parking for safety reasons. These people are a priceless treasure hidden in the mountains and most worthy of cherishing! Our pupster has received better care at this facility than some humans get in some hospitals! Lollipop was hospitalized for over a week as the result of ingesting AGRID 3 Organic (Omri Listed) rat bait which was inadvertently pushed up out of the hole by the rodent itself. Regardless of Lollipop's recovery, we will always have deep gratitude to Dr. Nao, Dr. McLaughlin, Dr. Edwards, Nurses: Shelley, Jamie, Suzanne and Serena for their overnight care (14.5 hrs.) of our dog. So many "Thank Yous" for your magnificent expertise and care!
